Can you believe it’s a new year already? Every time New Year’s comes around, I have trouble remembering to write the correct year when dating items, and the title of this post was no exception! Hopefully by February I’ll have gotten the hang of it. 2013 was a great year, filled with beautiful designs and great memories. We here at AlwaysMod are looking forward to the fresh start, especially all the new products and patterns that will be coming in. It’s always exciting to learn the stories of how the designers were inspired, and seeing the ways in which their designs inspire others around the world to express themselves in fun and creative ways.
2014 is a special year for Marimekko, as it marks the 50th anniversary of its most famous pattern: Unikko by Maija Isola.
